On Wednesday, August 2nd, Howard County Police Foundation President Kyri Greenleaf-Jacobs turned over the keys to HCPD Chief of Police Gary Gardner. The pathway patrol car will help our community outreach officers conduct even more patrols on the county's pathways.
Howard County Police have adopted the Head Start programs in Ellicott City and at the First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, two of the four Head Start programs run by the Community Action Council of Howard County. Head Start, created by the Community Action Council of Howard County, provides free pre-school to eligible 3- to 5-year-old children.
Starting Monday, February 6th, the Mission BBQ in Ellicott City will donate $2.00 from every Thanks For What You Do Blue Cup to the Howard County Police Foundation, Maryland State Fireman's Association and Howard Heroes.
