Howard County police are again offering the popular Collision Avoidance Training, a defensive driving and vehicle control program for young drivers developed by the National Traffic Safety Academy. The Howard County Police Foundation was the proud recipient of an award by the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Columbia (MD) Alumni Chapter. The award is in recognition of 40 Years of Community Service working with the HCPF to better the lives of Howard County residents. The award was presented November 21, 2014.
