Foundation Funds Department Photography & Videography Equipment

It will now be easier than ever to stay in touch with the Howard County Police Department and gain a behind-the-scenes look at what the department is doing in the community.

The foundation recently funded updated photography and videography equipment for the department’s Office on Public Affairs. Visual content is a great way to engage with citizens and update them on community outreach initiatives and special programs that the Howard County Police Department is involved in. With the updated equipment, including a new camera and video recorder, the police department can get the word out about local programs they help out with, encourage more citizens to get involved and tell a story about the impact of these county-wide events and initiatives.

The additional digital content will boost engagement with the department’s already strong social media presence and present additional avenues to reach out to citizens of Howard County. The Foundation is happy to help provide resources that increase citizen outreach and engagement while providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of our dedicated, hardworking Howard County Police Department.
